Questioin about DA 2 Merril *spoilers*

No DA2 on steam so might as well ask it here.

Im building my history on dragonagekeep but I cant remember if Merril destroyed the Eluvian or not.

Wiki says that if you are rivals she will, but is that the only way? I chose her as the romanitc interest and took all the good/kind choices. Can you check the mirror in game again? Id have to hook up my PS3 again, but id do it if someone knows you can.

Anyone take the same path and got this fresh in their mind?

I romanced her and she didn't destroy the mirror. She kept on trying to repair it, and the keeper sacrificed herself to the demon so it wouldn't take Merril. That's really all I remember.

Yeah, thats what I remember too. I just dont really understand why she wouldnt destroy the mirror after all that happend. Or is "detroying the mirror" option referring to bypassing all that by destroying it before the keeper encounters it?

The mirrior was connected to the underground during the blight, and therefore the corruption was spewing from it. which is why it was destroyed. I honestly forsee some big issues if its kept in tact. Also Merril is terrible for rebuilding it.

She only she destroys the mirror if you rivaled her. If you chose all the diplomatic and kind choices, she probably wasn't your rival.
