You need to create an "override" folder if you don't have one.

Be aware that there are multiple locations to place an 'override' folder:

-In the game folder: C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\packages\core\override

-In single player game folder: C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\modules\single player\override

-In users' documents folder: C:\Users\computer\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

-In user docs single player folder: C:\Users\computer\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\modules\Single Player\override

If you are using DAO-Modmanager, be sure to check Options tab and verify the folder paths there.

I know it's been 7 years since you commented this, but after trying so many different things, I found your comment and putting the override folder into the "C:\Users\computer\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\modules\Single Player\override" folder has finally worked for me. I kept trying to put it into the general core after the document one didn't work and did not consider the modules folder. Thank you so so much!:sparkly::steamhappy:

I tried all the options and it didn't work. I'm trying to get the Dead Metal Bucket but after killing the Gangue Shade I don't even get the Codex entry.
