Giving gifts in camp?

For some reason I cant figure out how to give a gift to a member of my party while im in camp. I read the codex, but it wasnt very helpfull. I tried to assemple my party while in camp, but shortly after doing so it takes me to the world map. When I exit out of the world map. All of my party members go back to standing where they were before. Any advice?

go to the char menu and find the toon you want to give the gift. right click on item and give it to that toon. in camp, they don't have to be in party. out of camp they do.

Go to the Inventory screen in camp. You can use the arrow keys on either side of the character name to access any NPC in camp.
