Revenant in Redcliffe castle help
I did Redcliffe first and am stuck on this guy. I'm level 7 with my dual wielder, Morrigan, Alistair and the dog. Am I able to leave and do something else and then come back, or will everyone in the village die, since I don't think I'm equipped to beat this guy.

The village won't die after you've repelled the nighttime assault.
So it's a better idea to do something first, then come back if I'm really stuck?
He's the guy you have to summon by breaking the phylactery right? You can leave him be for now and come back at a later level, he's not part of that questline.
No, he's the guy in the courtyard you have to pass in order to progress in the Redcliffe Castle dungeon
you cannot go to redcliffewith that level not advisable I would never go with that level
You can go to any of the major quest areas in any order. It's never impossible to win. Redcliffe first is actually fairly common.
I tried it a lot of times, and it appears that my melee characters usually miss their attacks on the Revenant himself. The only one able to do damage is Morrigan, and I don't have any other people for my party.

I tend to play as a magic user and love freezing enemies with cone of cold to allow my tanks to shatter enemies, or to cast a paralyse rune on a Revenant helps for a lot.

I find having 2 mages in your party helps heaps as they can be the biggest damage doers in this game with so many AOE spells to controls crowds.
then try using your rogue as a ranger instead thats how I beat it

lvl 7 is a bit early for redcliff. But you can just open gates so you get help from knights.
just have alistair overdose on health pots while he taunts the revenant, morrigan should be debuffing the rev and meanwhile let your dog maul the archers on the stairs
