Bad Reviews because...
Game was ranked 10/10 'Overwhelmingly Positive' until the hardware issues started, now its being reviewed bombed.

uh... well, I played the original and am installing it *the Ultimate Edition now.. we'll see...
And yeah, if it's unplayable now ppl need to know.
OP: "Review bombing" suggests bad actors...

It is not unplayable! I am playing now with Windows 11, Nvidia RTX 3080, Ryzen 7, blah, blah, blah. It's still one of the best RPGs ever. All DLC downloaded again.

I have beaten this game on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 with way lesser video cards. I am sorry, but I do not understand what the issues people are having? Be specific and give your specs. Maybe someone can help you!

Top notch RPG when we used to have those!

On 8.1 about 4-5 years ago. I eventually upgraded the operating system to 10, and later bought a new computer windows 11 on it.

k. I just tried to play this game on PC w/o Controller. I already cannot open a F#$*ng container, and there is no Activate Key.

The interface is radically different and I don't like anything else about it already, The original was iso-top-down.. no stupidity, no "fANCY/FAKE" BS.

I wish I'd played this last year and gotten refunded, and I'm only 10 minutes in. i MEAN, i CANNOT 'PICK' HERBS or otherwise select highlighted objects... wtf?

**Bioware should have officially died with this nonsense as they couldn't resist being a parasite.

...are you playing with a mouse? If yes, consider using the scrolling wheel (to change perspective) and the right click (to interact with things). Good lord.

Good lord, the mouse doesn't zoom out no where near far enough. Nor does it rotate my POV. I'm forced to zoom-scroll into the toon to change it, where it stays once I zoom-scroll out. most sad. This "ultimate edition" is not geared to keyboard/mouse, at a minimum. and besmirches the original play-style, story, and feel.

EA/Bioware is dead to me now. This revamp was a fail., imo, clearly.

There was nothing wrong with the original. IDK why I thought this was worth spending USD on. Oh, right, because it was long-enough-ago. Stupid me.

My brother in Christ, it's called "Ultimate Edition" because it has all the DLCs. It still plays exactly like the original did, because that's what it is.

I appreciate you trying to be helpful but I promise it was the DAO:Ultimate that I unlocked with the SS I already posted.

*That's not to say I don't have DA2 discs....

O ? How many DLC's were there? how many were there to explain the change to game play, thus? They added a stupid intro that avoided the knowledge I got about Dark Souls - I wonder if I'd have ever met the mage in the labyrinth they created.

This is why bioware/EA sucks - they create confusing time sinks

Can you take a screenshot anyway and highlight what you're talking about? I'm just curious since you say it's very different.

There have been no changes to gameplay.
