Anyone using Skip the Fade mod, a question
does the mod work mid playthrough? my modded dragon age has problems with one of the pedestals after getting the burning man where after interacting with the pedestal it just goes through a black screen after alt tabbing it projects the dream sequence map but can't press anything else, and since i hate skipping a part of the game whilst also hating the entire mission i'm wondering if this works in the middle of the playthrough? i kinda not want to go back to the start after playing for 24 hours in game time already

i think it does.

I believe the first time i used skip the fade mod, i was already playing, because i remembered it and thought "damn i rly don't want to do fade again, with all the mazes n stuff", so i installed it and it has worked ever since.

If it works, you should still have to do the start of it, with duncan, and then from there, if i remember correctly, it skips you all the way to the last demon fight, you gain all the attributes and everything that you would otherwise have to run around finding.

Worst case scenario, you install mod and still have the fade. So try it anyway, theres no downside.

i have a save in which i am already battling my way into the tower so i think that's the best place i can load up, the fade sequence was the worst thing in dragon age
Looking at how the mod works, I see no reason why it shouldn't work if you install it on an in-progress game, provided you haven't started the Fade sequence. It looks like it just tells the game to jump you to the dreams and then the boss, so I see no reason why it shouldn't work.
