Flemeth's Real Grimoire Quest help?

Im on this quest right now and Im trying to find Flemeth's Grimoire. I am at the Senior Mage Quarters in the last room before the stairs to the third floor. Theres 2 chests and both of them wont open. Leliana wont open the chests (she opens some but usually she doesnt open or unlock stuff anyway) she has 20 cunning points so I have no idea why she isnt opening the chests. And am I even in the correct room to find the item? Please help I have been at this for around 20 minutes already

The Black Grimoire is in a chest called "Irving's chest". Press TAB to see the names on the clickable stuff there and you'll get your right chest, but in any case I remember it being next to Irving's desk.

As for your trouble regarding locked chests, the solution to your problem is two words away: Lock bash[www.nexusmods.com].

Oh, and I'm gonna name-drop Skip the Fade[www.nexusmods.com] here, seeing what mission you're in. Maybe try doing the Fade section first, but this mod has been firmly installed in all my playthroughs after the first.

Im currently playing as a rogue and I was able to find the book you're in the right room to find it. I had level 2 in lock picking skills out of a total of 4 so maybe you have been investing Lelianna's points into a different skill? You might have to come back at a later time anyway the quest is super hard I haven't even completed it yet I'm waiting until I'm higher level

Irving's Chest is NOT locked. You will know the right room because it has his desk in it. You also will find a small painted box for a quest and some other stuff in that room. Facing the desk, it should be to your left against the wall.

In fact, there is a glitch. My grimorie desapeared from my inventory. So when i received to quest from Morrigan, I couldnt give her the grimoire. I couldnt find a fix for that sadly.

Have you tried the console cheat "runscript zz_party_addgifts" ?
