Can't launch game - PhysXLoader.dll missing?

Tried to launch through Steam - launcher came up and I hit 'Play' but nothing happened after that. I then tried through SteamApps and it came up with 'PhysXLoader.dll missing'. I have tried reinstalling the game and validating the Steam files, but that didn't work. I also have a Radeon graphics card as opposed to a Nvidia one, maybe that's the issue? Please help.

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\redist
Run the PhysX_9.09.0408_SystemSoftware.exe

I would highly recommend installing the latest version of Physx first. Since you might encounter other problems in the future.

Go to this page:  http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.1220-driver.html

Download and install it. If you have the same version, uninstall whatever you have and install this one.

Only if the latest version doesn't work, install the above mentioned version.

Hey, you are welcome but this was an old solution.

I would highly suggest following this method of installing PhysX as described in the PhysX part of this guide:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=260437327
The reason is that having the latest version of PhysX will make sure you don't encounter any problems with newer games and having the legacy driver installed will make sure you play older games like Dragon Age: Origins without a problem ;)

thanks man worked for me (had to look in a few diff folders cause i have the origin version but you saved me a huge headache)

( This is the latest version of PhysX. )
PhysX is a physics engine designed by Nvidia and is used by games such as Dragon Age.

- Go to this page:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.13.0604-legacy-driver.html

Download and install it.
This is its legacy drivers; in other words this is what old games need to use because they were developed earlier and therefore for older versions. This is a one time only install.

Your game should now work properly. If you still get PhysX errors you might need to restart your computer.
