**** the Fade!

Seriously, I had forgotten how hellish it was!

The Fade is the worst part of the game.. Its why for my next playthrough, I got a mod that lets me skip it but still gain all the points and boosts from it. Though I enjoy the different party member's dreams/nightmares stuff it just takes way way too long.

The Fade isn't that bad at all. The first time.

The second time really depends..

After that, most players get annoyed. Players who want to make several profiles, often try the Remove Fade mod.

basically. its awesome for the first time, even the second but its soooo slow and boring after you get over it

I didn't think it was that bad, but then again i'm playing on Easy mode for my first playthrough.

The person who introduced me to Dragon Age years ago said that when I first played. I was like "it's not so bad" and got the weirdest look. That was because I was playing a mage and was playing the intro part of the game where mages go into the Fade at the start.

When I hit the Fade part all the players do later, I realized what he meant by that.

Then like SwobyJ says, each playthrough after that I dreaded that part more and more.

I just decided to do Orzammar FIRST. Oh my god. Even on Normal, this place is torture when done so early. The level scaling does not like that I entered it around Lv 6-8. I'm Lv 11-12 now and the scaling is starting to kick in, thankfully. Good part is that I'm already sporting Tier 5-6 gear instead of Tier 3-4, due to the location itemization.

Yeahh it kinda is.

Also badass with all the Darkspawn combat scnarios sure.. but longggg.

At least it also feels like a proper 'dungeon delve'. Had to head back up to restock/sell items a couple times.

I lowered the difficulty from hard to easy just to cruise through that section because it does kind of suck.

That's not usually the annoying part of the Fade.
