Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

SPOILERS: Consequences from Origins through 2, and possibly Inquisition?
Just wondering, this isn't necessarily any hard facts topic - though I welcome those hearteningly from people more knowledgeable than me - but I wondered how the players background and decisions in both DAO & DA2 would build up in inquisition.

If you would play as a mage, perhaps human noble, in Origins, and be a terrific person, kill the Archdemon, Alistair becoming the friendly king (you as queen?) and other heroic feats thrown in, then I would think it would influence the impression everyone has of mages, and lower the threshold to achieve compromise.
I noticed when playing Dragon Age 2, that the main story line (which might be central in Inquisition?) is the oppression of mages by pretty much everyone, the Chantry sabotaged and Templars in the middle, and the ensuing war with these ideologues. I admit I haven't transported a save from Origin yet to DA2, I'm tempted, but I fear it will be pretty much insignificant what you do and are, because at least in DA2, everyone seemed hellbent on making war, almost every damn mage was what the cynics said; predictable in resorting to blood magic and becoming power-hungry abominations, Templars had some crazy sadists, both the Knight-Commander and First Enchanter became the worst examples of their sides, the Chantry tried to stay neutral to no effect...

You would think that if the Hero from Ferelden were a Mage and saved everyone and put no thought in their own gain, and the Champion of Kirkwall were also a mage who saved the city (I sided with the templars in the end because of Anders, a weird image of a mage standing in the end with templars kneeling before her), then there would at least be some sliver of a chance to get peace between all these warring fanatics.
Will any of this matter in Dragon Age Inquisition?

I think your personal storyline is just that, personal. Another player may have done the same thing with completely different intent.
Well, I guess I should feel pleasantly surprised to see my thoughts commented upon, even after (almost) a week, but I fail to see the relevance of your input. So what if someone would have played with a different intent? I used my decisions made ingame as examples revolving a central theme developed in the story line of Dragon Age 2, not as any sole arbiter of what should happen with everyone in their own playthrough. The question was if it would influence upcoming events?

Perhaps I should be more abstract and state it very simply: If you - the player - would choose a particular background/race and decide to be a jerk, then would the war effort become more polarized? And if you would strive to be the hero and save everyone (and perhaps choose a background which many view with preconceptions), then would the warring parties become more amenable to peace and see that they have had stereotypes and biases?
Surely not every NPC will be closed-minded in the game world, making whatever the player does utterly insignificant? At least I hope Bioware will strive to make the events less linear.

Well since there was no major impact on the story in DA2 when you import your custom storyline from DAO and Awakenings I don't think that Inquisition will allow your choices to influence the way the world reacts to you. The only thing we got from DA2 were different cameos from a few characters in DAO. I think it would be nice to see your warden remembered in history in Inquisition though it would probably be more complex with developing the game.
Bioware has said your past choices will have a much larger effect on the world of DA:I versus the way your choices influenced DAII. So I guess you'll just have to hope they ring true on their promise.
Choices in Bioware games have never come to anything more than a snippet of dialogue or a cameo in the next game, and in the case of Dragon Age that's compounded by the fact that your story very tangentially touches that of the Champion's.

So no, don't think so.
