How do I find CD key?

Hi.

I tried to start the game, however it says that it's missing a file. I looked for a solution online and apparently I should open it from Origin but I need a CD key for that. Where do I find it? All the solutions I found online were outdated, even 2022 posts.

you dnt need to activate cd code for steam version,just play

But I do need it to play it from Origin (EA's launcher).

ok,1.start the game and select configure option from game launcher.
2.a new window ll pop up with name dragon age origins configuration utility.
3.select game option then game-cd key

The game should start once you have origin and origin account.

I could open up the Configuration Utility, however it still doesn't show the CD key in the game tab. It's not like I want to change to Origin but I also don't want to lose game progress. But I still can't find the CD key. (There is a little "Product Keys".. window? But it's blank.)

Can you somehow share the error or whatever message you are getting?

The game normally doesn't require CD Key for Origin. Like, the game doesn't even show in my Origin account, even though it starts from there.

You may need to verify the files or reinstall the game.

I have Origin an Origin account and it doesn't start.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\"docs is missing, it says.

In the case of Dragon Age II, it starts through Origin but with Origins it doesn't even offer Origin. I tried verifying the files and reinstalling the game but it didn't work, I still get the error message. If I can play the game fine without it, I don't mind, but as I said I wouldn't like to lose progress.

I don't think you can lose progress (played on both origin and Steam), saves twnd to work on both.
