Question about importing character from DA: Awakening
So, I've finished a DA:O with my character died in the final. Now I'm going to play Awakening, and it seems that importing a dead character will allow you to play as him. So I'm assuming the import will change my ending to another, where the warden survived.
On the other hand, it seems that if you'll import your character to DA 2, your ending will be saved, even if warden died.
So the question is, if I'll use my dead character to play through all the DLCs (Awakening, Golems, Witch Hunt), will my 'sacrifice' route still be there when I'll import my save file from Witch Hunt to DA 2?

Besides the character import Awakening is completely seperate from the main game. You can by the way also import from an earlier save.

You import a save from DA:O into DA2. What you did in DLCs doesnt matter.

it doesn't really matter as you play a different character in each of the Dragon Age games and what you do in DAO doesn't affect DA2 much if at all, and if you intend to play Inquisition then you can always change your choices that you made in the previous games before importing

Its basically about when and where do you meet Alistair. And if he is a warden, you will get a different item from him than from the warden that otherwise replaces him in the encounter with Qunari.

Yeah thats it, you either have Loghain, Alister or Stoud

Alister will appear in the bar if he becomes a drunk at the end of DAO, and depending on what you do with Nathaniel in Awakenings will determine if he appears in DA2

Also Loghain, Alister or Stoud will make a appearence at the end of Act 1 if you took Bethany or Carver with you to the deep roads

But yeah except for those minor cameo's there isn't much that DAO influences in DA2

Thank you guys!
I didn't really like Dragon Age II but what I was even more surprised with (in a not-so-good-way) was how little your DA:O game impacted DA II.

Well they both take place in different areas, and minus a few cameos the cast of characters is different.

Very true. The direction the sequel took likely made it harder for there to be more meaningful changes if you imported your save game... but I still wanted more of an impact haha.
