Replace the exe file. If its still not working by launching via steam, launch the game directly from the DAOrigins exe (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\bin_ship). You can also link the exe to steam and skip the launcher by setting a launch command in the DAO steam settings using this command (you may need to change the path):
"F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\bin_ship\DAOrigins.exe" %command%
I've decided to just refund the game from Steam. I already had it directly from EA, and bought the Steam version only so I could have all my games in one place, and also in case EA ever went under. My version on EA Apps works just fine, so I'll just stick with that, and hope EA doesn't go away anytime soon. :)
