how do i play this game on a 2024 high end pc

i get crash every few sec and ive heared about a ♥♥♥♥ load of patches or things u need to download to make it work, any 1 got a guide for a dumbass for how to make it work

Just download LAA patch (4gb patch) for some reason steam version is busted. You just have to download one file and replace it and the game will work perfectly fine because it unlocks the ammount of memory it uses.

Here is detailed explanation:

-Download LAA 4gb patch https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/5989?tab=files
-go to Steam\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\bin_ship
and replace daorigins.exe with the LAA patch version
-Download https://ntcore.com/4gb-patch/
-run 4gb_patch.exe and go once again to Steam\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\bin_ship
-and patch the new daorigins.exe

Basically once you replace the exe in bin_ship folder you have to patch it with 4gb patch

i downloaded and replaced and patched and clicked the things did all expet delete the folders and reinstall the game, if i crash again ill try to delete and try again, but for now, by andraste's tits i hope it works, i ONLY replaced the exe before asking for help and i had a few crashes, flemeth just saved me and i crashed again so i looked for more info, we'll see how it goes, big tnx

Also if you replaced the exe and after you patched it with 4gb path and it STILL crashes then you could try changing some settings on graphic card.

set max fps: 60~75
Vertical Sync: on
Power menagment mode: Prefer maximum performance

The crashes techically could happend if your fps is to high because its an old game.

Also one thing worth mentioning just to be sure is that you DO NOT COPY PASTE ntcore 4gb patch into the bin_ship folder, You have to actually run the 4gb_patch as an app and then select the modded daorigins.exe that you replaced earlier with LAA version and it will automaticly patch it for you.

If you already did that then sorry for pointing out the obvious i just wanted to be sure.

Then use your game serial number and add it on EA platform and download it from there. If it still crashes then it has do to something with your PC and im not sure what. :/
Try locking your FPS at 60.
Also at what part your game crashes?
