Not updating to 1.05

Just installed the game and steam doesn't want to update to the latest patch. Is anyone else stuck on 1.04? Tried the patch from the Bioware site but that one doesn't work with the steam version. I've also verified cache and still no luck. Anyone know of a way to update?

That's really weird because Steam must have downloaded the latest version in the first place.

Where do you look at to check which version you have ?

I check from the Dragon Age launcher where it says Documention, then in the patch notes. It says 1.04 in there. Unless the version steam downloaded is already 1.05?

It's because in the game's character creation I still get this texture glitch on the character skin which says something about Legacy tattoo assets do not use which was supposedly fixed in 1.05.

I'm having a problem logging in with the game, and can't login to origin either, so it might just be that they're down at the moment, and that's causing some sort of problems with updating for you.

You should go to

\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\bin_ship

and right click on ' DAOrigins.exe ' and choose Properties. Click on Details tab and you should see the version it has.

Oooh right hadn't thought of that. It says it's 1.05. Thanks, that solves that, but I wonder why it still has the weird texture. Maybe just a mod.

Also having this issue. Now I got a text saying legacy tattoo asset not working in the middle of my toons forehead.
