The problem with potions is that i dont have enough materials to craft them, i bought all potions and all materials i could find up to level 15, i did Magi then orzammar, and i finished orzammar with 0 potions and it was an absolute pain, and thats counting i had to forcefully cheese the last fight, kiting the boss like a cheater to be able to win with the last 7 great potions i had, it felt so wrong.
The final boss hurts a whole lot less when you have spirit resistance. You can pop a Greater Spirit Balm for 60%, or wear the Corruption helm you picked up on the way there for 75%.
Thanks! well the idea now is then going to dalish quest first or second, so i can stock on potions and avoid bringing wynne everywhere, not that i dont like her, but i hate to be dependant on a companion
eg. "I'm sick of carrying this 3-runeslot dragonbone 2H magic sword everywhere taking up inventory, lemme put it on ... HEY THAT GUY Sten the Qunari uses 2H weapons!"
I play on ludicrous stupidity aka nightmare difficulty, because I'm an idiot and a glutton for punishment, but don't have the potion rafting problem you have, maybe I'm more exploratory and enjoy the grinding than you do? I still enjoy rando world fights, for example, after hundreds of them.
Just a note that Morrigan can do almost as much healing as Wynne can. Everybody hypes up Wynne but the reality is any mage who invested in Regeneration can heal just as well. They all have the exact same spells. Spirit Healer is nice to have but not really needed unless you're dying a lot but that indicates a different problem. Of course, one advantage to Wynne is that she's got her Super Wynne mode.
Yeah but the second time you meet Morrigan she states "Im no healer" so basically i rule all the healing spells out of her due to roleplaying purposes.
