Main quest stuck in Orzammar

I spoke to Dulin when I first entered the city. As I had no clue who was who, I didn't commit to fighting for Harrowmount just yet. The journal entry said "you spoke to Dulin but refused to fight blabla you can change your mind later".

Seeing as I didn't really get any meaningful pro/con info from any dwarf, I decided to go ahead and do the Proving on Harrowmount's behalf. I bumped into Dulin before the match, not sure where exactly, but it wasn't Harrowmount's estate. Anyhow, I talked to him and said I'd fight for Harrowmount and proceeded to complete the Proving.

I fear there may be a bug though as the journal entry has not been updated, it still says "you can change your mind". I can't find Dulin anywhere. If I talk to the other contestants they have lines that refer to their defeat, but I can't seem to progress with Harrowmount since Dulin is not in his quarters and the guard won't allow me to approach him directly.

So... am I stuck or am I missing a step? With no instructions in the journal for next steps I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do, should I be looking for Dulin or do sth else... Any ideas?

You won't find Dulin in Lord Harrowmont's estate. He's actually hanging out outside the estate, to the south of it. But that's not your only option; if you want, you can also betray Lord Harrowmont and start working for Prince Bhelen. If you decide to do that, report to Vartag Gavorn, in the Chamber of the Assembly.
