Modding for Dummies: Can't find your .dazip file? Here's how i solved it!

You have downloaded the Mod, extracted it but there's just a bunch of folders after folders and manifest.xml with no .dazip in sight. If you have this same problem as i am, chances are your browser is "helpfully" changing your .dazip to .zip. Don't get me wrong I am in no way computer/mod savvy. But I have finally found a solution that works for me so I'm just gonna share this to you peeps:

1. From your Local Files, look for settings/three dots and click "options".

2. Go into the "view" tab, in it will be "advance settings". Look for "Hide extensions for known file types" and unchecked it. Click on "Apply to all folders", hit OK.

3. Download your Mod. DON'T extract it (use the zipped version if you downloaded it). right click rename. Change extension into .dazip. Ex: (example.rar to example.dazip).

4. Answer "Yes" to the question "If you change a file name extension, the file may become unusable? Are you sure, you want to change it?"

5. Now you can use it as per modders instructions or your choice.

Correct me if I'm wrong as i have only figured out this much. Any other helpful tips will be a great addition. For others with the same frustration as i have, your welcome. :)
