Grey Warden Of Fereldan Armor: MOD help.
Hi everyone,

I have recently downloaded the Grey Wardens of fereldan Armor mod, but I am having trouble installing it. I have downloaded it, and the archive extension to.dazip. However it will not install via DAUpdater or through DAO-Mod Manager. Can anybody provide any help? Is there way to install this manually?

Assuming you are using Tommy Irianto's files, then, you'd need more than the core .dazip file. There is another set of folder/files to be put in override folder, i.e. .utc & .utm files.
C:\Users\Account\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

Additionally, these special armors will be given after the Joining Ritual. So, if the mod is shown in the 'Installed Content' tab, then, it's a matter of playing thru the origins.
If not there, then, I'd go back to the site where you've downloaded it.
Or, try other variation mod of the same theme...

It still dosen't show up. I have put the contents folder, and the manifest.xml into the override folder and it still dosen't show up in the installed content area.

Tommy's mod does not have or use .xml files. Just a .dazip & a bunch of .utc/.utm files. They installed fine. In the "Installed Content" tab at the game's start screen, it shows 'Warden Armours,' dated 30/4/2011.
And, I see Duncan & Alistair wearing DA2 Grey Warden Armours when I first arrive at Ostagar after the origins story. FYI, they are too overpowered at that time. Too many bonuses... Maybe on par later in the game. But then, my character or Alistair wouldn't or shouldn't be wearing them after Ostagar, since we, as the last grey wardens in Ferelden, were being accused of regicide and hunted by Loghain. Last couple of my playthru's, whenever I go into town/city or enter an audience chamber, I'd switch into commoner clothing, noble robes, or similar non-armor looking chestpiece to roleplay. (I fought Loghain in a simple robe, with 0 armor & no defense bonus, since that's what I was wearing when we entered the Landsmeet Chamber.)

Anyway, here's where I got the mod:
http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/3258/?

The .dazip file is named, "Core Mod GWoF - REQUIRED-3258-2-5," but shows up as 'Warden Armours' after installation in DAModManager. I extracted the "Grey Wardens of Ferelden" folder from the 2nd downloaded zip file and put it in the override folder.

Then, I loaded up a savegame just before being recruited by Duncan, and went thru the arrival at Ostagar & initial meeting with King Cailan. Duncan was wearing the new armor. Later, I ran over to the other side and met with Alistair. He's wearing a similar gray-blue armor, too. So, works for me.

FYI, my DAO:UE game is from Steam, running under Windows 10.

I can't seem to find the dazip file. Which folder is it in?

I assume you are referring to "Core Mod GWoF - REQUIRED-3258-2-5.dazp".
It should be where your download files are per your browser setting.
My Win10's default is in C:\Users\account name\Downloads.

This is the direct link to the file:
https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/download/17150

And, the .utc/.utm folders:
https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/download/17152

Did you click on the direct link I've provided?
If yes, then, the downloaded file will have .dazip extension.
If you don't see the .dazip extension, then, your file manager has known extensions hidden, since you have registered .dazip to either DAUpdater or DAModManager.
Right click on the file and view properties, to see the type of file. Simple...

I know this ended a while ago, but would you mind telling me how you did that? I think I am having the same problem. Thanks.
