Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Steam vs. GOG
Does anyone know if there is any difference between the Steam version and GOG version of the game. The reason I am asking is because I noticed (I'm looking at buying Origins) that the GOG version is $10 less than the Steam version. I really want to get it on Steam, but I don't want to pay the extra $10 unless there is some incentive to do so.

According to the review posted by kokosabre, it does contain all the DLC. GOG tends to be really good with that sort of thing, so the Ultimate Edition has the same content.

So to answer your question, yes.. both versions are identical. Enjoy.

Origin puts like, all of their games on sale at the same time. I bought Dragon Age 2, Inquisition, plus Mass Effect trilogy, and something else... Rollercoaster Tycoon, maybe. Whole thing only cost like $60 lol

And recently bought Sims 4 for $20 :D

nice. it feels good to shop smart right? never can understand why people always want to buy a game right away when they can just wait a while and get it cheaper later. Must be important to be one of the million to play right away.

^Ditto. There are games that came out last year, but I am in no hurry to play them. I want to see all DLCs and patches to get in first.

I never understood why peoples poke at me about not being among first ones to play a new game. For example I do intend to play Witcher 3 and Fallout 4. Watching back, waiting for companies to introduce new gameplay features, UI changes and balance patches was a good call.

Of course games need those million first players. Otherwise companies will judge their games as failures and seize to support them. However, markets could wait over first half of the year and two first patch updates, before judging if peoples were actually interested about the product or not.
