Duel with Loghain

hello guys,

i am playing on normal and i didn't have any problems with the diffculty in origins so far up until now, where i have to face loghain in the duel. one of the leaders on the landsmeet didn't agree with me so i have to fight loghain and his soldiers first. no problem... but after this i have to fight loghain immediatly and i cannot even save the game.

i've tried it like 20 times now and i still can't manage to win against him. his damn spell, that makes me unable to use my sword is so damn OP. he uses it every time when i fight him and i don't have any counter spells or something like that. i am a warrior. it wouldn't be a huge problem if i would have have more health potions. unfortunately.. i forgot to save the game at the right time, so i could quickly buy more health potions right before the fight begins.

any ideas how to beat him?

idk ive never had issues killing him Bash stun knockback help but also Helps if you DO DLC for armer weapons form liliana arc the Light armer is best in base game as wella s bow

if i play warrior its dual wield warrior berserker , ravager champion. Lohigan goes down like a champ everytime even on the highest difficulty. I am assuming you are doing the tank thing.

my suggestion to you is make sure you are carrying alot of pots because you dont get heals any other way. use knock downs with your shield if you can.


Have you tried using another team memeber to fight him you do have that option as well. just make sure they are geared up.

I advise to not worry about that one person saying he is for Loghian because he always sticks with him , if there is more than 1 that goes for him tehn you did something wrong. the duel happens reguardless of that one guy.

okay, thx i'm gonna try to fight him with a different character. i'm a two handed tank btw but i also have some skills/gear with shield and sword.

yea also helps certian equipment i use runic grey warden armer from Nexus mods its brutaly awesome
