Avoiding Zevran's ambush...

Have somebody tried this? I just wondering how will this affect the game because it's clearly not meant to be done this way...

This is what made Origins so much better then dragon age II the ability to do stuff like this you most likly wont see zevran again but you out smarted him which in its own way is great.

Might be why those traps are there in the first place -- compensation for the XP you don't gain because you didn't fight.

i dont think will affect the game really apart from not having zevran as a companion, allthough to be honest with you i never tried to avoid zevran since i find him to be cool also keep in mind that(assuming you dont already know it) that companions can leave or you can reject them in the 1st time around. iam not sure about morrigan , or alistair though. the only companion i dont like much is sten , but he is good fighters so its all good!

I actually didn't save game after this. It is cool game but I really don't like these scripted events which triggers animations or dialogues because after that I can't use effective strategy in upcoming fight.

For me its morrigan & zevran my main party is me,leliana,alistair and the last slot i like to leave open but for a good bit its Wynne.
