Help! Dialogue is missing!

I've been searching for a fix for this problem but in some cut scenes where my character is asked to respond the responses don't show! I can select "1, 2, 3," but I can't actually see what I'm selecting. I only have one mod installed and that is "Make Console Commands Visible" ( http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1110/? ) and I don't know what to do. I'm not that far into the game so I'm okay with having to uninstall and re-install the game.

Try changing the aspect ratio to 4:3 instead of 16:9, it should work.

Some people experience this problem even though the game actually supports 16:9 ratio and works without a problem most of the time.

So even though I can play it in a larger aspect ratio and see the whole screen and most of the time I see the dialogue selections...switchnig it could fix the problem where instead of seeing options the characters just wait for me to choose something to say but the dialogue box is black? Just want to make sure I'm doing it right, thank you for your help.

Have you tried that aspect ratio ?

Can you upload a screenshot of the dialogue options here ?

I had this same problem and this fix worked for me. It wasnt that the options werent there, they just weren't visible. I could still choose options using the number keys.

Posting in this again because I'm having the same issue, however adjusting the aspect ratio doesn't fix it for me, only taking it off of full screen does. It's odd, because it seems that my picture fits the screen perfectly, but as soon as I talk to someone it narrows in and won't show subtitles or conversation choices. Any other ideas?

Got the same problem, no matter which aspect ratio i choose i cant get the 3rd option to show up to a point that it is visible aside from the very top of the letters. And the npc dialogue isnt showing at the top enough for me to read it either.

I have to change between windowed and full screen to see the choices every time

Completely fixed mine by charging resletution to 3440x1440 👍

I'm having the same problem the dialogue doesn't show at all and If I tinker with it I can get it to display maybe 3 out of 4 choices and that's it and nothing I've done helps
