Dragon age origins always crash

I tried to enjoy my game dragon age but the game keeps crashing and is not enjoyable for me. I even have a picture of the bug that keeps appearing like a red river kind of bug. so weird.

Please I need to fix this

I don't think "most others" is representative, hopefully you'll be able to sort yours too.

I connected it in 2019, Win 10, Steam Ultimate Edition (two different accounts, this is my current one).

It doesn't show on Origin; worth mentioning that DA:O came out before that so it might be the reason.

I don't know what's the deal with the keys.

I haven't had issues logging in luckily.

well the core game is seen now in dragon age keep
however all the dlcs are not

now what odd and neat is i can go and tick them ON
they dont give you anything in game but
the fact the option is there means there are issues

like even the blood armor and witch hunt etc dlcs arent showing up at all
0/14 showed up
i manually did the few i know about.. blood armor and all dlcs i finished
just its odd it sees the core game but not the dlcs
im assuming this is due to steam and the lame ultimate ed

if anyone has clues how to get this to update the proper dlcs lemme know
as some are odd

like preorder from amazon get this....
participate in the alienware give away get this...

none of which are checked and i dont recall seeing such items in game
shrugs and im so confused..

when looking deeper it seems dragon age keep only recognizes 2 editions
Digital deluxe and
Digital collectors edition

i read on the ea forums that it will never ever read the ULTIMATE edition as this was in place only by steam and far later than the site was created.

I mean this is worse than the old assassins creed sites that no longer exist
i mean who the hell has the rewards for preordering at a retail location and or amazon
and or digital only

How many accounts do you have? My origin/EA/BSN account where one and the same, maybe that's your problem, you have game activated on one of them, but not the other? I always used my EA account to login in all EA games and services. Also I had the game registered in BSN when it was still working. All three, original DAO, Awakening and Ultimate, using steam keys. Maybe that's what helped me back then.

These dlcs where given for free when BSN was still working. Now you can add them manually in origin, if you have the game there, it's also free. Now there's no other way you can acquire them, sadly.
But as you don't have it, then just activate them all in Keep, no big deal. It's a very unreliable system, it checks whether certain keys or dlcs are tied to your account, and if you have none (you said it's your other account, right?) then naturally it shows none there.
In my case I missed some promo dlcs too (can't remember how many, probably 2 or 3), I just enabled them in Keep. In case of DA2 I missed Collector's Edition bonuses and just activated them in Keep, because you can't get them otherwise.

As I mentioned earlier, BSN had an option to register Ultimate edition, I did it personally with my own hands. BSN accepted all Bioware games and dlcs after DAO till ME3, after that ME3 recieved its own 'game center'. Previously you had to register all dlcs in BSN and download them manually, install them and let the game authenticate them. If you don't own it, the game will not work with it. Because of that system EA stopped releasing its games in steam after DA2, because steam requires all dlcs to be purchased and downloaded via steam client.

P.S Dragon Age Journeys was a free flash browser game, it's no longer active, but can still be played on Newgrounds

P.P.S DAI had the same tie-in browser text game - Dragon Age: The Last Court. It also had some additional content unlocked in the base game, but it's closed in November 2020 and all the locked content was unlocked for everyone.

well no my ea bioware account is the same since 2015
its seeing my in game achievements now but not seeing ANY dlc
so i just manually ticked each one on
hell one even says you have to do it as the game doesnt exist anymore aka journeys

this makes me think.. is bioware/ea going to do some sort of remaster of the series after da4 etc
one wonders..

but yea thanks to the keep and me finally putting in the login that works.. even though as I said ALL the sites logging in links you to are old bioware 404 sites
dare you to click forgot password or login.. it takes you to a site that no longer exists ahh

anyway
so my issue really is that due to the ULTIMATE edition, for some reason the keep doesnt see any dlc

the even stranger thing is, while playing the dlcs their achievements DO unlock.. but the dlcs still register as not owned or active.. so again i just clicked ok and enabled all but 1
as I didnt do the alienware bullshat or gamestop preorder
