Dragon Age 2 or Inquisition
Both are on sale on orgin right now which should I get?

Depends if you want to use Dragon Age Keep to keep the story coherent among choises you made in the game.

If that is the case, then play Dragon Age 2 - including DLCs - if you want to experience NPCs and events that lead to Inquisition.

Otherwise just pick up Inquisition and make up your choises in the Keep. DA 2 isn't that good, but it is important chapter between DA:O and DA Inquisition, if you want a solid storyline.

They're both great games (don't listen to the haters). Go for Dragon Age 2 first - it establishes an important conflict in the Dragon Age universe, and the Legacy DLC specifically sets the stage for Dragon Age Inquisition. Then get Inquisition in the next sale.

Both games are ok and you should play all dragon age games before playing DA3.

yep 2 does help set the scene, stage, or story for the templar and mage war, and not only that but in inquisition you'll have characters from both origins and 2 in the game so playing 2 will also help you know who is who O.O

Choose none. And im not hater. Im lover. The reality is Dragon Age 2 is pure ****.

Dragon Age Inquisition is litle bit tricky. The gameplay is again pure ****. Very bad game mechanic, very bad toons, very bad combat, very bad dungeon design, very bad control, very bad camera.

But... the story is... Half story is absolutly great, second half is total garbage. And party sux. All companions are gay or psychopats or disabled or mix of those.

Sorry its not good game.

And again, Im lover.
