installing the 4GB Patch helps a ton with stability as unfortunately DA:O doesn't get along too well with modern hardware.

I have got to a point where it crash at the very same spot IE: The part where you have the dream of the dragon and then wake up in camp being attacked.
It crash every time I skip the scene or let it play out.
Could that be related to this memory leak problem and would this fix it?
I did verify my files and there was 1 error that was fixed but that did not stop the crashing.
Whenever you want to run the fixed LLA, Windows tells me that it can't find a fmod_event.dll here. After that the window is closed and nothing happens.
Can you please tell me what I have to do here ?
I have copied due exe into the system folder of the game.

It would be nice for EA to fix as you said but they won't do you think they care about there customers or old games?
