In any case, the game will be a lot easier for you if you set at least one tactics slot for each character to force them to use a healing potion before they run out of health. I always reserve the top tactics slot for something that looks like this...
Self: Health <25% :: Use Health Potion (least powerful or most powerful - your choice)
If you're talking about common stuns or slams which knock down one of your party members, there isn't really much you can do except wait for them to get back up. If possible, try taking control of another character and attack the thing that is attacking the stunned member.
