Dragon Age Keep
Does Dragon Age Origins still sync your save game and choices to the keep? I wanted to play the trilogy and this is a quite important feature and seems to be not working for me. I've logged in the keep, I've made a character in Origins but it doesn't appear anywhere.

It does indeed, coincidentally I made a post about a few days ago, check Bioware's tutorial video there https://steamcommunity.com/app/1222690/discussions/0/2295094308080319468/

From what I remember you can import a character, but must have sync your account in game first. For what is worth it doesn't matter if you actually import your characters or do them manually, the only real difference will be in their portrait that doesn't appear in game anyway, so you can safely put your choices manually achieving the same result.

Thank you for the quick response sir, but my Origins hero does not show up in the keep Hero option. I have launched Origins and made a City Elf character, I am also logged into my bioware account in the game. I am not sure how to sync it as there is no option to do so.

Is it possible I have to progress further into the game for the character to be uploaded (I am still at the wedding) or is there a sync button that I am missing?

Normally when you log in to Bioware's server it should automatically do that (which appears you have done already). Do you have any mods enabled? I read they may have some issues.

I took a look again at the Keep, when selecting the window Heroes on the left hand side panel, my Origin character is there; my guess is you might be right that being at the beginning may be the reasons, as the only info next to the character is Origin's main campaign ending.

After browsing the Keep again I think you still need to put the choices manually even if the characters are loaded successfully, but I can reassure you that the Keep registers the choices 'properly' for Inquisition.

As for DA2 luckily is more straightforward (but not editable), as each Origin's endings (main campaign and post campaign DLC) will make a new save before the end credits roll, when you are about to start DA2 will let you select a file to import.

Alright thanks for everything, worst case scenario I'll play through the first two games before Inquisition and then just do as you said and edit everything manually. Your help is much appreciated!

Go for it, it will be a fun ride! It was a pleasure mate ;)

Like mentioned above, its better to edit everything manually before inquisition just to be safe. You will also have the option to edit DLC choices even if you dont own them ( just in case you do not purchace everything)

Yeah I bought all DLC, I read that it's pretty essential to the whole plot. Just one final thing, do you guys get an error saying "Unable to access profile storage. The account information provided may be invalid" every time you boot the game?

Yes DLC are actually an important part of the plot and are fun, some in particular are very important for understanding the story and lore of the franchise. I never had that issue, but there was a similar post where changing password did the trick for some reason. I don't think is something too concerning though.

Edit: minor but important correction.

Hmm not all of them but some particular DLC tie to the main story more than others , I wont name them to prevent hinted spoilers. But they are all worth it IMO.

Regarding the error, it could be from the server's end. Lots of people jumped on the dragon age series now that they came to steam.
