Crashes when loading save games

I recently installed the game for the first time, having previously played it when it previously came out. After a few hours - I am currently in Ostagar, still before the battle - the game has started to crash when I try to load any save game. It worked just fine until today, but now even old saves that would load just yesterday make it crash. Reinstalling has not helped, and setting the executable to run on one or two processor cores has not helped. Does anyone have any fixed for this problem?

That's an annoying one that happened a few times to me as well. Reload an older save, turn all graphic settings down, than reload your last save where it crashes. You should be good by then and you can put all the settings back.

Anytime I try to walk around in, or load a save in Denerim, causes instant CTDs.

I've been having a similar problem in the Thaig while playing the Witch Hunt DLC.

Though it's more of matter of u game crashing each time I enter in combat.

I've completely removed what few mods I had installed, and made sure that I deleted any old, and unnecessary saves.

It appears to helped, somewhat.
