I'm early in game so I'm sure approvals will change but still a little bit OP in my opinion
No please no spoilers lol I am playing the game for my first time
I love it I should have played sooner. I just gave them some bad gifts to bring down their approval and gave the prayer book back to the merchant - I'd be too tempted to use it. I'm playing on hard on my first run
A lot of the gifts actually are just fun to use (play special things) and even the equipment are just unique fun looks more then being at all powerful. (ugly boots, dog cone)
Um Allistair Doll and Qunari Prayer Book add +50 approval to Morrigan and Sten respectively and they cost nothing. Plus the prayer book can be used in battle however many times you want to revive all fallen parfty members - costs nothing basically a cheat
But not game breaking, one can choose not to cheat I'm stuck in Mage's Tower quest right now but when I get out using coal and rotten onions to subtract all that approval I gained.
Not a tiny bonus for Allistair Doll and Qunari Prayer book +50
There's also the pranks gifts that are -50 for each character but still what's the point of these gifts other than humor and cheating
You seem to be itching to fight or prove something to someone. I don't care what you think, if you don't have anything constructive to say on the topic, don't say anything at all
you just said "approval bonuses is not what we were talking about"
But before you said "ya there nothing wrong with the tiny bonus you get"
I'm just saying these gifts are over powered. They cost nothing - especially the prayer book which is basically a built in cheat. I have no desire to argue with you about what I think or anything like that.
