dragon age 2 , act of mercy bug ?

part way through this quest i meet thrask and he tell me to go to cave as the people i am looking for may appear at any minute....... and this is where i am stuck.....

1 posting said bouce your character figure at the cart and they will appear .... another post said just wait a long time ....... i have ....

i seem to remember having this problem many years ago when the game first came out but i cant remeber what i did

as I remember i seemed to clear all the dragonlings and eneimes etc outside of cave and never seem to have this problem. could try clearing outside of the cave and see if that works.

watched a video on you tube , the cave with the cart in front is the wrong one , if you look behind thrask you can just see the shadow of the entrance.
