What problems doesn't it have would be the right question.

You don't even own the game on steam.

Also i didn't crash one time during 111 hours in-game, completed the main story 2 times and dlc's... did a few 10 hours sittings.

Not only is the GoG version completely unencumbered by DRM (although I really don't mind Steam), but a fellow made a lovely Wine wrapper for it so it can be installed and played in Linux as if it were a native game:

All the Ultimate Edition content is included to Steam installation, if you run required files.

However, some players have encountered issues with this. I tested this less and month ago with new computer and new Win10 installation, without issues. I can't reproduce the problem that some players are having.

If you do try those files and fail, then please check your Windows Event Logs to check if there is an actual issue. Then post this to me in this thread.

Otherwise I recommend buying GOG version. It seems to be free from these problems. I am trying to to troubleshoot the problem here in Steam, but I do not want people to stick with a version that might not work.
