i reluctantly need god mode to work

i am using the version of the game downloaded from steam... This is my problem , i could not kill jarvia so i left that location and went to camp to choose another team , now , no matter where i try to travel i get sent to an ambush ( the same one everytime) .

i need a god mode that works , on some of the ones i find i cant find the revavant files to alter.

many years ago when i had this on disc their was a notepad file that you could alter just 1 line but i cant seem to find that either.
