blood mage leader

at the end of the deserted buildings quest their is a big group of enemy , as soon as the blood mage leader sees you 3 of your team die because you cant get out of the doorway quick enough , if you are lucky you can get 1 person up the staircase.... how you defeat these guys.

lol a hard battle for sure but not impossible what level are you at?

and backing away from the room always help if you are to low level

I just did this yesterday, not sure exactly how to describe what I did, but I basically had my party (Wynne, Allister, Leliana, dog) wait around the corner, and I managed to open one door at a time and get one group at a time hostile, run back around the corner, and let them come to me. Also laid down what traps I had in front of the door ways and made sure Leliana was using poison. Could probably have done without the traps and poison.

am i missing some here , you say wynne , alister , leliana , dog , so how you do 4 in team without yourself

there is a mod witch make the dog not count as a companion

got past this section now , i ran out of end room as soon as they attack , eventually i got all 4 of team a long way off and did a save , then i got 1 of my team to bait them out and one by one i killed them off.
