Codex commands?
I'm playing DAO for the first time in a while on PC. Of course, back then I just console commands to fill up the missing codex pages. Such as the one in mages tower and the three you miss via the elf. I usually used the "zz_getsetplotflag" command ingame to unlock the codex entries.

However with the death of the Bioware forms, I have only found the codex entry for the Brecilian Forest:

"runscript zz_getsetplotflag set cod_hst_brecilian 0 1"

Another option is using the the Toolset, but I never really figured out how to even do it.

So does anyone know the rest of the codex entry codes, or where to find them using Toolset?

try this mod for the game. list alll the console commands, and hopefully the ones you are looking for , in the codex itself so you can use it for reference.

I know this is an old post... but I have found a solution! I had the same problem with the bugged codex entries but still wanted to complete the codex.

In the wiki you can find all the console commands to unlock the bugged entries for both Origins and Awakening. You can find them in the specific pages of those entries.

But what if you missed some other entries along the way that are not bugged? Some of them are meant to be unlocked only by specific races or classes. The wiki does not list the console commands for ALL the entries...
So, it took me quite some time of research but here's how to do that.

You will need this mod:

https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4642

Once you have installed it using the instructions, you can start and load your game.
Open your diary, go to codex and you will find all the entries even if the game does not recognize them as "unlocked". You cannot read them in this form (or at least not all of them) but the titles will be replaced by the console commands that correspond to the specific entries. You can now unlock them in the same way you unlocked the bugged ones. All you have to do is just remove the .plo that is the final part of the command.

For example:

The codex entry for Shale will be titled cod_cha_shale.plo

To unlock it using the console you will type runscript zz_getsetplotflag set cod_cha_shale 0 1

Once you have unlocked all the entries you're interested in, just uninstall the mod and you'll be able to visualize and read them normally.

I tested this method and now I have 100% codex both in Origins and Awakening. The visualization of the codex appears to be just bugged in the DLCs but you SHOULD still be able to use the mod in the DLCs as well, if you need to... (I didn't verify the DLCs because I didn't need them to be complete).

Hope this can help someone who's trying to complete the codex! Enjoy the read!

If I recall correctly, the Brecilian Forest codex entry has two versions, depending on if your Origin is Dalish Elf or not, but the non-Dalish Elf version is bugged and the Toolset needs to be used to fix the dialogue link. There's a guide on the wiki.
Using the zz_getsetplotflag command on that codex entry will only give you the Dalish Elf version.
