Can't enter Ostagar at all

So, I've played this game a lot (on different computers) so before anyone says anything, my problems are not caused by a bad PC.

I recently reinstalled DA:O but for some reason I can't get into Ostagar. The game runs fine, looks fine, acts fine up until that moment, but when I get close to the 'ramp' into the Ostagar camp the game crashes. No error messages or anything like that. I have also tried the suggested solutions from the ultimate fix guide, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone else have some suggestions?

I have one installed that allows me to have Dog with me at all times without taking up a companion space.

The issue seems to have gone away for now at least - I was able to enter the camp, talk to the NPCs and all that, so maybe it was just temporary?

Possibly. If I were you, I'd also install Qwinns Ultimate Fixpack; fixes a ♥♥♥♥ ton of bugs, including those that could crash the game.

It'll also be good to make your game use 4 GB of RAM instead of the standard 2. This will also decrease crashes. The process is kinda annoying due to Steam, but here.
