Weapon rune visual effects remover?

Hi, the VFX effects on weapons really annoy me as they discolor characters in dialogue while the weapons are on their back. I tried several VFX removers from DA Nexus but they didn't work. I assume this is because I am using the Ultimate Edition. Has anyone been successful in disabling the weapon VFX in DA:O Ultimate Edition and if yes, how did you do it please?

I never put certain runes on my swords, anything that will give it an "aura" or whatever you would call it. I stick to runes that simply give spell resistance or increase darkspawn damage.


If you want to take it a step further and also remove visual sustained spell effects :

But I personanlly do not know if that mod still works.

Thanks for your response. The mod doesn't work sadly. I too do not use weapons with enchantments that have those visual effects, but it is still annoying as a lot of NPC's have these weapons and it looks like ♥♥♥♥ and immersion breaking when talking to them.
