Money is not really an issue. And, if you want to roleplay, you can make Potent Lyrium Potion with raw ingredients and sell to merchant for a profit. Or, crafting & selling Intensifying Runes in Awakening.
See: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Exploits_(Origins)#Potent_Lyrium_Potions
And: http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Runecrafting#Exploits
The better exploits are the reset for Bodahn's inventory after first Party Camp visit, duplicating rare items & tomes, increasing item tiers by selling & buying back from Levi or Mikhael Dryden at Soldier's Peak/Warden's Keep, and extra attributes from Fade Essences/Fonts.
Be careful with increasing XP too much as most areas' monsters level will increase based on the Warden's level, while the companions may not be yet, and thus, get easily wiped out. Return to Party Camp and level up all companions first.
