I understand. I cant see any problem. Whats the problem? Just play it without companions... lol... is this some kind of JOKE thread?
Anyway Arcane warior is poor choice. It is very specialized class, without party he is incredibly weak. Another weaknes of him is he need extremly specialized gear, so its very bad choice.
But ofcourse, any class any specialization can do it... So i still cant see any problem...
Few examples, iv tried solo. Hardest posible difficulty.
Warrior - sword and shield (he can on hit kill Ogre with proper setup)
Warrior - twohanded (very boring)
Warrior - dualwield (very funny)
Mage - sword and shield (very slow)
Mage - elementalist (extremly boring)
Mage - bloodmage (repetetive)
Rogue - dualwield (interesting)
another helpfull informations:
The most powerfull class in game is Warrior Archer
The most powerfull party is 3 Rogue Archers + 1 Warrior Archer
The most invincible class is Arcane Warrior
The best dps got Warrior Dual Wield
The most versatile is Blood Mage

Well people who want companions and people who don't want companions do so for completely different reasons.
The reason you wouldn't want companions could be that you don't want to have to bother micro-managing them, or what an additional challenge.
The reason you'd want companions could be because you want to play a more specialised character (a healer, for instance), or perhaps you just want them around for the inter-party banter (something Bioware games in particular are pretty well-known for).
And also.. this is not Bioware game... yes, there is mark called Bioware, but people who maded this game was fired/left from Bioware after finished this game.
Then wouldn't it be more advisable to play the appropriate games that would allow for just the sort of play you wish to do at the time instead of trying to mold whatever game you are currently playing to suit your mood -- particularly when it wasn't created to be that way?
Still shaking my head.
And DAO had the ability to preset how you wanted you companions to deal with situations so micro-managing never should have been a problem to begin with.
Any other class or build outmatch him. For example even naked dual wield warrior can clear rooms like nothing.
