Dragon Age Origins SOLO Run
Hello

Is there a good guide on the internet, where it is explained, how to solo the game? I prefer the easiest method.

While I've never done it myself, I have a feeling the best way to do it would be to play an Arcane Warrior. Tanky, good damage, healing. It can really do it all.

Yeah, but i can not find a proper talent / skill guide for mage. Only for the rogue, i got youtube videos and a guide. But one says, put all attributes in dex, the other one put most of his points in cunning.

Magic & willpower is more useful for mage.

I understand. I cant see any problem. Whats the problem? Just play it without companions... lol... is this some kind of JOKE thread?

Anyway Arcane warior is poor choice. It is very specialized class, without party he is incredibly weak. Another weaknes of him is he need extremly specialized gear, so its very bad choice.

But ofcourse, any class any specialization can do it... So i still cant see any problem...

Few examples, iv tried solo. Hardest posible difficulty.

Warrior - sword and shield (he can on hit kill Ogre with proper setup)
Warrior - twohanded (very boring)
Warrior - dualwield (very funny)
Mage - sword and shield (very slow)
Mage - elementalist (extremly boring)
Mage - bloodmage (repetetive)
Rogue - dualwield (interesting)

another helpfull informations:

The most powerfull class in game is Warrior Archer
The most powerfull party is 3 Rogue Archers + 1 Warrior Archer
The most invincible class is Arcane Warrior
The best dps got Warrior Dual Wield
The most versatile is Blood Mage

I just find it funny that some people are just never satisfied. They play a game like this with companions and they prefer to play it solo. Then they play a game like The Witcher 3 and complain that they can't have any companions with them.

SMH

Well people who want companions and people who don't want companions do so for completely different reasons.

The reason you wouldn't want companions could be that you don't want to have to bother micro-managing them, or what an additional challenge.

The reason you'd want companions could be because you want to play a more specialised character (a healer, for instance), or perhaps you just want them around for the inter-party banter (something Bioware games in particular are pretty well-known for).

Well games, which involves micromanaging are bad games. Failed design. In Dragon Age> Origin is no such thing as micromanaging. Its normal very quality RPG. And also there is option to make your squad killing machine without single click on hardest difficulty. Thats how awesome this game is.

And also.. this is not Bioware game... yes, there is mark called Bioware, but people who maded this game was fired/left from Bioware after finished this game.

Then wouldn't it be more advisable to play the appropriate games that would allow for just the sort of play you wish to do at the time instead of trying to mold whatever game you are currently playing to suit your mood -- particularly when it wasn't created to be that way?

Still shaking my head.

And DAO had the ability to preset how you wanted you companions to deal with situations so micro-managing never should have been a problem to begin with.

The most important thing to know about about Solo is that you always need to shoot first

yeah, it is tanky, can debuff, has self buffs, aoe magic, is self sustaining and has crazy high damage. Yup, really weak.

Yes, he is weak. Fact, that he can do things doesnt mean, he is powerfull. Fact he can do things means he can do things. And of course, he cant do high damage. Arcane warrior does lowest damage in game. So dont LIE.

Any other class or build outmatch him. For example even naked dual wield warrior can clear rooms like nothing.
