Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime Error R6025 in Origins
Hello! I recently downloaded and started playing Origins on my computer and have run into a problem. The game itself works fine for about a half hour to an hour, and then abruptly, the game will just crash. One of the times this happened, I received a popup message that said "Microsoft C++ Visual Runtime Error R6025." I verified the game's cache, tried switching from full screen to windowed mode, low-res, but this keeps happening. When I reload the game, my save file still works, but it looks corrupted, and sometimes items will be missing.

Has anyone had this same problem? What should I do in order to fix this problem? I'm not terribly far into the game yet, so I don't mind if it involves re-installing, but I just want this problem to stop happening as it's very frustrating.

Thank you!

Have you tried reinstalling \Programs (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition/redist/vcredist_x86.exe?

I didn't know how to uninstall it, so I just double-clicked on that .exe instead. I haven't been getting the message anymore, but after about an hour and a half of playing, I noticed the graphics gradually became stranger looking (the grass shading would toggle a bunch in Lothering, for example) and when I tried saving, instead of a preview screen of where I was at the time of save, it was a garbled looking screen. A few minutes later, the game stopped and shut off again, so I don't think that reinstalling this helped?

I'm not sure what else could be causing the error, but thank you for trying to help! (Does anyone else have any ideas?)
Well, I don't have other ideas, since when I've played the game recently, it has been stable except for some known crashes in the city of Denerim (upon opening inventory screen after a larger ambush), and I haven't had any graphical corruption.

However, if you haven't verified the game's local installation files before using the Steam app (library > right-click on game > properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache), that would be something to do just to be sure. The app would detect and fix damaged files.
