Dwarf Noble Broken?

I can't seem to figure out how to trigger the scene where you sleep with Mardy the castless girl who gives the Dwarf Noble his son.

1) I talked to her in the Diamond Quarter and told her yes.

2) I completed the feast where the Dwarf Noble's commission is announced and after that is when I'm supposed to meet here.

But I don't know how to actually trigger the event. There's no one in my room and the only thing to do is talk to Trian and Bhelen which immediately starts the deep roads sequence that leads out of the prologue.

No walkthroughs or videos that I know of show the scene happening at all. Can anyone help?

I believe you must also speak to Teli even if you only intend to sleep with Mardy
