How to get out of Caridin's Cross?

I've gone through it all twice, killed all the monsters and gone down every tunnel. I don't think I've missed any corpses or locked chests, but there's still no entrance to the next area. How do you get out of this place?

You need to head south to reach Ortan Thaig which is the next area.Its supposedly not marked correctly on this version.

There are three exits. Did you find all of them?

Thanks. I read about Ortan Thaig in one of the walkthroughs, but so far the exit isn't marked. Thanks for the wiki page.

one of the exits i think its the one with the path that leads to the darkstaker mother boss, also its the one that gives a cutscene, but as far as i remember none of them are direct exits instead each og them just take you to the deep roads map whwere you slect where to go much like the world map
