Help: Stuck in cutscene loop

So I'm at soldier's peak and everytime I enter the second floor of the keep I get a cutscene with Sophia approaching me saying, " The maelstrom has subsided. The magus's web has been destroyed. This one remembers the deal. Come, follow." This cutscene just continues on a endless loop and eventually I just have to minimize and open task manager to close the game (because there is nothing you can press to get you out of this cutscene loop). Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

i know its 5 years later :D but caught this one too, while trying a workaround to another bug where Sofia woudnt move to the summoning circle. it seems there is not much to do except force close game and reload

Seems someone had a similar issue on reddit as you did. Might be worth the look.

Another fix I can think of is adjusting your graphic settings for the game lower temproary and turn off v-sync, reload and see what happens.
