Gifts confuse me..
Gifts and pranks confuse me, you give them but they stay in the inventory.. OK, so you can sell them back after giving them, but the effect still stays?

The wiki says this gift is for that character, so you give it and it causes a big negative effect so why give it?

The pranks to, why do them if they cause a negative?

Glad i Save before giving..

Very confusing...

That addon is meant for people, who already palyed with vanilla gifts and want to explore the mechanism. I tested it once and decided to leave it out from my main game entirely.

Yeah roger that, Ive played the game many hours, got it way back when it first launced from EA. Someone gave it to me for my birthday through steam when they sold the whole pack on sale for dirt cheap.. Even though I won two copies, I've never finished.. Something always went wrong with my old machines before I could finish the game, and I would lose all my progress.. Never got a chance to try out gifting..

I was giving it some thought after shuting down last night, I think the purpose of a bad gift, or prank is to force a party member to leave if you no longer wish to have them in your group.. It's a quick & dirty way to get that job done..

The Gifts/Pranks addon is essentially a gimmick for players to mess around with the relationship system, so it doesn't have any major effects or purpose outside of what you choose to do with it. Most people don't use it because of how quickly it can break romance progression and immersion with the party.
