I just went in Windows Explorer into the game binary directory and manually launched moh.exe myself by clicking on it and the game started up without an error. So it appears that the bug is actually in however Origin client is launching the game itself. Perhaps Origin was not tested properly with games installed to non-default locations and this introduces a problem of some sort that just running moh.exe manually avoids. Just a guess though, I don't have any easy way to test that theory out, but anyone else having this problem can at least try to run moh.exe themselves manually or make a shortcut to it on their Windows desktop and bypass the Origin client as a launcher and it may work for you as well if your problem is actually the same problem I experienced.

If someone tries that and it does not work however, then they are probably experiencing a different issue which may or may not have similar symptoms. Anyway, it appears I worked around the issue and since I haven't seen anyone else anywhere on Origin or Steam offer a solution that actually works and I found one, I felt it my duty to pass the information along to other frustrated gamers.

Another option is if someone has Steam installed also, to set up a custom launcher for the game in Steam. That seems to work also. I have to admit though it is kind of funny to set up a game launcher in Steam to play an Origin game because Origin can't launch a game properly more than once which it installed. Standard smile

Anyhow, I hope this helps other gamers out there having problems with this game. Hopefully EA will look into it, but to be honest, I wouldn't hold my breath.

FIXED IT!!! WORKED FOR ME!
Do this:

Aside from verifying your game cache and checking your connection with Steam, you may also need to manually run secondary installers required by this game.

Exit Steam entirely.

Browse to your Medal of Honor installation folder (Usually C:\Program
Files\Steam\steamapps\common\medal of honor\)

Run the following installers:

...\Steam\Steamapps\common\medal of honor\install\redistributable\vc8redist.exe

...\Steam\Steamapps\common\medal of honor\install\redistributable\vcredist.exe

...\Steam\Steamapps\common\medal of honor\install\PunkBuster\pbsvc_moh.exe

...\Steam\Steamapps\common\medal of honor\install\PhysX\PhysX_9.09.0408_SystemSoftware.exe

Reboot your computer and test the issue again.

If you dont trust me, you can check where I found this!

None of these worked for me. Some of the installers couldn't even finish without errors. Tried both running from Steam and the executable in the Steam folder. Tried running as admin. Tried compatibility mode. Ridiculous.

fixed it. reinstall physX driver and then run MOH.exe as administrator after installing all the stuff in the install folder in the MOH file location

I fixed mine by just finding the moh.exe in the folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medal of Honor\Binaries

and right-clicking it and running it as administrator.

that sh,it happens when the savegame get corrupted too, so just go to:

C:\Users\*your username*\Documents\EA Games\Medal of Honor\Saved

and delete all the content from the "Saved" folder.
