you mention the Comma but your posted text doesn't include it either.
I beleive it is used as separator from the last command or option inside the brackets (.....,....)
probably should be copied inside the Brackets with the other settings for each texture group

"ShadowFilterRadius=1.000000 -- Higher values will cause some visual glitches, however this will not."
I don't understand this bit^ What does "however this will not" mean? it sounds contradict
I might try it because i see shadows rolling in as i run along at about 60meters or so, might fix that
Remastered version of Medal Of Honor 2010 would be so good!
Don't bother enabling DX10 in the .ini file , it causes really bad glitching
Haven't tried SweetFX yet....
Kbird666 i have been trying to fiddle with the tree fade settings. Do you know which settings i would need to change? I have got the game looking very nice with playing around with shadow settings in the .ini. All i want to fix up now is the tree foliage which i notice is popping in and out as i run towards them.
Doing some digging in UE3 stuff has got me intrigued.
What i found out is you can change the CSMDistanceScale it seems you have to balance it with ShadowFadeExponent, and ShadowFilterRadius
This increased the shadow distance. Now characters cast shadows at greater distance. For instance the 4 wheel motorbike bit where you get off and take position waiting for the 2 friendly to appear running along the wall. Shadows are now cast from those 2 characters on the wall when before the value was 1.000000, there was no character shadow.
Please note all, that the original post is no longer what i am using its a little different. If i come to some more knowledge i will update the .ini file settings.
Open the BaseCompat.ini Found in the game folder. Also open the MOHAEngine.ini from Documents folder, have them side by side so you can see both text documents. Look for [AppCompat] at the bottom of MOHAEngine.ini. Change
CompatLevelCPU=1
CompatLevelGPU=5
In BaseCompat.ini Change the GPUmemory5=768 to a higher value
Now you can change shadow detail in the settings menu to "High" with slider bar.
This gives me something to work with in regards to shadows rolling in. in the .ini files
Will report back. Not sure what CPU should be set to, as most of us have much better cpu than from year 2010.
Edit
lol.
High shadow settings in game menu look no better. What i am messing around with is these values which seem to make a good difference. Currently testing on level "Running with Wolves"
ShadowFadeExponent=3.000000
ShadowFilterRadius=0.300000
CSMDistanceScale=6.000000
CSMSizeScale=2.500000
This helps that horrible draw line you see on shadows while moving. Shadows at distance look better and stops some shadows from popping in. What i am working on is trying to get the shadows to look nicer up close now. Shadow Texels per pixel or shadowquality bias might have something to do with it. Will keep on the fiddle

10x more easy edit settings.ini text file
my folder for example, look way to file in Documents folder
C:\Users\HP\Documents\EA Games\Medal of Honor\Multiplayer\settings.ini
That's for the multiplayer, which runs on the Frostbite engine. Singleplayer runs on Unreal Engine 3 and its FOV can't be changed through an .ini file.
