Helicopter grounding

I am playing this game in Linux, and when I get to the helicopter mission, and just finish the weapons dump in the village, after the helicopters pause, then start up over the mountain pass, right there, my copter grounds, and will go no further. Can anyone help with this??

Playing on Steam Deck (linux) and have exact same issue. Anyone got around this?

I have a solution. Go back to the main menu, go to select mission and select the helicopter mission but change difficulty. Worked for me. Must reset thr script or something

Oh I have to try that next time. I tried 4 different proton and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SteamOS doesn't allow you to make searches inside forums. It's about time they add that feature in it.
EDIT I tried five times now, doesn't work for me. I'll just play it on windows then.
