Question about Long Night Achievement
I'm curious if I need to leave the game idling as the active window for the playtime to register.

Sorta lame that a 4 hours long game with no real replay value would have an achievement for playing for 50 hours...

Got the achievement, the game doesn't need to be the active window thankfully. Just left it idling inside the protagonist's home and eventually it unlocked.

It really is a ridiculous achievement. I'm slowly working my way there by keeping the game running while I do other things.

One thing to note, even though the discussion is old - if you shutdown the game while trying to gain the achievement, make sure to save your game before you exit. While Steam does track your total time played, this counter is separate from the one used ingame to determine eligibility for the achievement.

In other words, unless you save your game, you won't make any progress. I'm not sure if this is tied to a single savegame or the entire time played. In my case, I got the achievement with just a little past 90 hours played total; I think this was addressed in another discussion, at least that's where I got the idea from.

Honestly, though, this achievement wasn't all that great, I'm really glad they didn't include it again in the next game.

Would anyone kindly share the save before the 50 hour mark? I really don't feel like wasting electricity for something so silly
