well the Force Gun is the best weapon to use against them
They were what i believe to be one of the most unnerving
lads to combat in both DS 1 and 3.
They broke the "Safety" rule of Stasis, forcing the gears of the situation to shift.
And yes, force gun is truly something else.
I had learned this from a guy on YouTube named "Wolfwood824", where he did a walkthrough of the first game on Impossible w/annotations, and he specifically says that the Force Gun is practically the best weapon to use against Twitchers (as the primary fire can sometimes one-shot them to death when fully upgraded)
