Resident Evil 5 was released on all its platforms in 2009, eventually outselling its predecessor and becoming the best-selling single game of the franchise. -- Wikipedia
If "fans" had it their way game companies would just make the exact same game every year and we would never see anything new. See: Koei's Dynasty Warriors series.
PLUS, the demo is the final version anyways. EA said so. Which is also why the game releases only 2 weeks after the demo. Whats in the demo, is whats in the game. I can judge the demo. Thats what its there for.
Why not? A demo is supposed to be a promotional tool to entice people into buying a product. If the demo failed to make me want to buy the product, why should I throw down the money? That's not to say that the demo is the only thing you should judge, but saying that you shouldn't judge a game by its demo is silly. They clearly picked that part of the game out to show people, and if that's what they are trying to impress people with, then it doesn't give a strong picture for the rest of the game in my opinion.
4. Nothing wrong with the drill battle even on hard.
5. Sorry but you are just bad at the game or there's something wrong with the demo they take 2 shotgun hits or 3-4 plasma shots to limbs max on hard.
The demo doesn't give a good impression but the game itself is mostly different for example the first 4-5 hours of the game are spent in space in enviroments just like the first two before you get to the ice planet and when you are there the game still has the same feel just with a bit more action in places.
Overall the game is far too easy even on hard thanks to the infinite amount of resources, I find myself constantly throwing away stasis packs and med kits because my inventory is allready full of them.
After 3 runs of the game, I built 7 weapons, FULLY maxed out. It's fun to play with, but because I'm mowing down nechromorphs, I need to play it on Impossible to get a sense of challenge.
I tried classic mode and I beat it, but OMG, classic mode is MUCH more difficult. With only the classic Dead Space 2 weapons, not being able to customize; makes the game a lot more challenging. Health wasn't the issue during my run tho, it was ammo. Coming down to the end of the classic mode, I found myself with NO scrap metal, as I was constantly crafting ammunition during the game.
All in all, Dead Space 3 has the MOST variety and is overall the best Dead Space IMO, although it isn't as scary as the original. It isnt as "linear" as the first two games. The free roam and exploring adds to replayability. After making Isacc more "powerful" than he was in Dead Space 1, the "scarieness" started to drop. In Dead Space 1, Isaac was really slower with limited ability and that added to the horror.
Also........................The ending for Dead Space 3 is on STERIODS! ! !
Another thing, you can't judge the game, JUST by playing the demo. I was skeptical at first after playing the demo, because Dead SPACE supposed to be about SPACE, not on land. Imagine... two guys running around in the snow with space suits, LOL!
After playing the game, Chapters 2-7 were the best IMO, however, they managed to pull off chapters 8 - the end good. The ONLY thing I miss are scenes where some s**t blows a hole in the wall that sucks Isaac in space.
